摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed-bed sugar syrup refining apparatus causing little leakage of salt into the processed sugar syrup in the treatment of the syrup after the regeneration of an ion exchange resin in the mixed resin separating operation of the ion exchange resin regeneration process even in the case of forming a mixed resin layer at the boundary of both resins and capable of stably producing a treated sugar syrup having good property. SOLUTION: The mixed bed sugar syrup refining apparatus is filled with a basic anion exchange resin and a strongly acidic cation exchange resin. A collector 2 for discharging a resin regeneration waste liquid is placed below the separation boundary face 7 of the upper layer of the basic anion exchange resin 3 and the lower layer of the strongly acidic cation exchange resin 4 when the strongly acidic cation exchange resin is a sodium-type resin. Preferably, the distance m between the separation boundary face 7 and the collector 2 is set to 1-15% of the height Hc of the lower layer of the strongly acidic cation exchange resin 4.
