PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyurethane flexible molded foam improved in cost and bulk stability by using a specific silicone surfactant. SOLUTION: This method for producing the polyurethane flexible molded foam comprises reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a polyol in the presence of an urethane catalyst, water as a foaming agent and as necessary, a foam initiator and a silicone surface-active foam stabilizer having the formula Me3Si (OSiMe2)x (OSiMeG)yOSiMe3 (x) has an average value of 1-4.5 and (y) has an average value of 0.75-7.5 and a value of (x/y) is 0.25-5 and a value of (x+y) is >=5 and <=9 and G is a group having the formula D(OR")mA [D is a divalent organic binding group; R" is an alkylene group; (m) has an average value of 1-5 and A is a group of the formula OR''' or OOCR''' (R''' is selected from a group comprising methyl, ethyl and a combination of methyl and ethyl)]}.
