PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin compsn. for a beverage container which has excellent strength and heat resistance, which causes hardly any problem of migration of taste and odor to the content, and which is stable during the molding, and to provide a beverage container molded therefrom. SOLUTION: This polyethylene-type resin compsn. for a beverage container comprises component (A), i.e., 100 pts.wt. of a copolymer from ethylene and a 3-12Cα-olefin; and component (B), i.e., 0.03-1.5 pts.wt. of inorg. compd. particles having (B1) an average particle size of 0.1-7.0μm, (B2) an oil absorption amt. of >=50 mL/100 g, and (B3) a water content of <=6 wt.%. The compsn. has (C) an FR of <=7.2; (D) an MFR of 0.05-15 g/10 min; (E) a density of 0.880-0.940 g/cm3; and (F) a hexane-soluble content of <=2.5 wt.%.
