PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the torsion of a plunger to permit appropriate use by providing a plunger with at least one edge at least at one guide face engaged with the corresponding guide face of a threaded bush in a spring load tension and compression pin comprising a spring and the plunger. SOLUTION: A threaded bush 1 provided with an external screw 16 and screwed into the corresponding hole of a machine part is provided with a plunger 2 fitted inside in a substitutable manner. A compression spring 3 is fittingly mounted between the threaded bush 1 and the plunger 2, and one end thereof is supported by a shoulder 17 of the plunger 2, while the other end is supported by a shoulder 4 in a hole 5 of the threaded bush 1. Tap sockets 13, 14 are formed at the opposed end parts of the plunger 2 so as to be able to screw various parts. Two opposed opening parts 6, 7 are formed in the hole 5 of the threaded bush 1, and a torsion restraining part formed of a hexagonal opening is formed at one opening part 7.
