PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the water level of a port, a river or the like and at the same time contrive the lifting of a mobile bank by connecting the side part of a plurality of water overflow prevention plates with slight looseness, providing a float on the downward part, and lifting the prevention plate by a buoyancy when the water level rises. SOLUTION: The water overflow prevention plate 2 is constituted of a rectangle fromed of a plate-like body, a float 4 is provided downward of the plate-like body, and when the float 4 floats, the upper part of the plate-like body is projected upward from a water surface. Then, one side edge of the plate-like body is a fitting projection part notched in the form of a stage over the entire length, the other side edge forms a fitting recess part vertically from the extension part and the auxiliary part. When the fitting projection part assembles the prevention plate 2, it is fitted to the fitting recess part of the adjacent prevention plate 2 with slight looseness, and the adjacent prevention plate 2 is freely vertically movable. Furthermore, a pair of the guide through holes of a slender lower end opening are formed in the neighborhood of both the side parts of the prevention plate 2 in the vertical direction, and facilitates the attaching of a guide plate 10. Thereby water overflow can be prevented automatically and surely.
