PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pruning machine capable of reducing the feeling of heavy weight and remarkably improving the operability with little increase in the load applied to the operator. SOLUTION: The pruning machine is provided with a handle, a driving shaft and a pruning blade arranged in the longitudinal direction in the order. The rotary power of the driving shaft is transmitted to a final gear through a pinion attached to one side of the driving shaft, a pair of eccentric cams rotating coaxially with the gear is integrally rotated according to the rotation of the final gear and the pruning blades are reciprocated by the eccentric rotating motion of the eccentric cams. The final gear is positioned to the side of the handle relative to the driving shaft.
