APPARATUS FOR BURNING GASES OF ALUMINIUM CELL

aluminium production, namely trapping and burning gases of aluminium cell. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes burner with slits mounted on boss of gas collecting bell and gas duct system. Burner is in the form of two cylinders having different diameters and stepped portion between them. Slits are provided in lower cylinder under stepped portion. Upper large-diameter cylinder of burner is joined with gas duct system; lower small-diameter cylinder of burner is joined with boss of gas collecting bell. End portion of burner around opening for flue gases is horizontal one. Apparatus allows to lower CO content of afterburned products by 2,37 times and content of resinous matters - by 1,17 times.
