摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently evaluate or measure the distortion of the surface of a large-sized mirror coated panel by projecting a stripe image formed of line groups consisting of a plurality of parallel lines juxtaposed every different line width and/or line interval to the surface of a mirror coated panel from oblique direction, and evaluating the distortion of the strip image projected on the panel surface. SOLUTION: A projector 3 is rotatably supported on a frame 4 by a horizontal shaft 4a. A flat plate 2 consists of a translucent resin plate, and a stripe image formed of line groups consisting of two or more parallel lines juxtaposed every different line width and/or line space is drawn on the surface thereof. A light source 5 uniformly irradiates the reverse side of the flat plate 2 to project the strip image of the flat plate 2 to a panel surface. A mirror coated panel A is carried onto a flat horizontal surface and horizontally placed thereon. Thereafter, the light source 5 of the projector 3 is lighted to project the strip image to the surface of the mirror coated panel A at a projection angleθ(for example 45 deg.). In this state, the stripe image projected on the surface of the panel A is visually observed to evaluate the turbulence of the stripe image.
