<p>Hotmelt polyurethane adhesive compositions which are solid at room temperature and capable of being cured by moisture are obtained by combining the reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a low molecular weight polymer derived from ethylenically unsaturated monomers and containing active hydrogen groups such as hydroxyl with an isocyanate-containing polyurethane prepolymer derived from one or more polyols. The low molecular weight polymer component may, for example, be obtained by free radical polymerization of mixtures of unsaturated monocarboxylic acids, alkyl esters of unsaturated monocarboxylic acids, and/or hydroxyalkyl esters of unsaturated monocarboxylic acids.</p> |
