Non-round container blow molding method apparatus

This new equipment blows a non-round container with substantially uniform thickness, starting from a rotationally-symmetrical parison. The conveying system runs through both a heating station and coupled moulding station. Originality lies in cyclic rotation of the parisons as they pass through the heating station, at a prescribed non-uniform rate. This induces thermal variation around the parisons. During heating, a sensor identifies angular orientation. Repositioning equipment re-orientates each parison prior to introduction into blow moulding, enabling thermal variation exploitation, in forming the containers.
