PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flow meter that can measure the flow rate of a fluid providing pulsation, without requiring an additional pulsation detecting means such as a pressure sensor, and improves the tracking ability to the change of a flowing state. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic flow meter is constructed to have pairs of transducers (A, A')-(D, D') for propagating ultrasonic wave in the direction of flow and in the opposite direction, measures a propagation required time of the ultrasonic wave between the pairs of these transducers, and calculates flow rate or flow speed of the fluid based on the measured values. In this ultrasonic flow meter, a plurality of propagation passages of the ultrasonic wave formed between the pairs of transducers (A, A')-(D, D') are installed in a state in which they pass through different portions of the fluid, and spatial average values of measured values by each pair of transducers and of the flow rates or the flow speeds of the fluid calculated on the basis of the measured values.
