PURPOSE: A lift of a vehicle is provided to repair and manage a vehicle conveniently by connecting a double-acting cylinder to a single-acting cylinder in series in lifting the vehicle without eliminating a synchronous bar. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic cylinder of a vehicle lift is composed of a double-acting cylinder(24) connected to a hydraulic pump, and a single-acting cylinder(26) connected to the double-acting cylinder in series. Oil is supplied to a first oil chamber of the double-acting cylinder in operating the hydraulic pump, and the double-acting cylinder is extended with lifting a piston up. Oil is supplied from a second oil chamber to a pressure chamber of the single-acting cylinder. The single-acting cylinder is extended as much as the double-acting cylinder, and lift units are moved up. An upper plate(2) is moved down with tare of the vehicle and the lift in discharging oil from the first oil chamber. The synchronous bar is eliminated with extending the double-acting cylinder as much as the single-acting cylinder.
