PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable protector which holds and protects electric wires, cables, wire harnesses, etc., to be laid especially in a vehicle, suppresses fluttering of the electric wires, cables, etc., and is effective for preventing abnormal sounds. SOLUTION: A protector body 10 is composed of a main part which holds a first cable of large diameter, and a subpart which adjoins the main part, arranges and holds a plurality of second cables 21 of a small diameter. The subpart is composed of a plurality of holding stays 13, having L-shaped cross sections arranged at proper intervals over in the longitudinal direction outside the sidewall 12, which forms the main part, and a plurality of coming-off preventing protrusions 14 are arranged on the external surface of the sidewall 12 over among the holding stays 13 at zigzag step pitches in the subpart. Consequently, it is possible to sandwich and hold a second cable 21 in a three-point or latch-like supporting way, even when only one second cable 21 is held inside the holding stays 13 being a subpart and excess air gaps exist, and ricketiness of the second cable 21 in the protector body 10 due to vibrations, etc., of a car in the course of its running is prevented, and abnormal sounds are prevented. |
