PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device having the outgoing light with high luminance. SOLUTION: In this light source device, the light from light sources enters a light guide body 12 and outgoes from the light outgoing surface of the light guide body 12. Light diffusion coating is applied to at least one surface of the light guide body 12, and the light guide body 12 is formed with a plastic material containing organic fine grains with different refraction factors and having a light diffusing property. The quantity of the organic fine grains is set so that the luminance of the outgoing light when the surface of the light guide body 12 contains the organic fine grains without being applied with the light diffusion coating becomes 2-10% of the luminance of the outgoing light when the surface of the light guide body 12 is applied with the light diffusion coating without containing the organic fine grains. |
