<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain toner particles capable of improving chargeability and developability characteristics and sharp in grain size distribution and small in grain diameter. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is obtained by suspension polymerizing in an aqueous medium a monomer composition containing a polymerable monomer, an eposyester resine having an acid value of 5-150 mgKOH/g produced by reaction of an epoxy resin with a carboxylic acid, and a colorant. The epoxyester resin is contained in an amount of 0.001-20 weight % of the resin composition of the toner, and it may contain a vinyl group and it has number average molecular weight of 200-5,000.</p> |
