PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the mounting structure of a link for an opening/closing body in a compact manner. SOLUTION: One end part of a tail gate open stay 4 situated between the opening part of a car body and a tail gate 3 is supported by a pivotal support bolt 5 coupled in a screwed-in state to a nut 7 situated at a bracket 6 welded to the opening side. The nut 7 is formed in a trapezoidal shape in cross section through extrusion molding and the bracket 6 is formed by bending a plate in a manner to wrap the three surfaces on the short bottom side of the nut 7 and the nut 7 is welded to the bracket 6. Thus, by welding the nut 7 to the bracket 6, support rigidity of the nut 7 is easily increased and moldability of a nut support member formed by bending a plate in a manner to wrap the nut 7 is improved. Further, by mounting such that the short bottom side in a trapezoidal shape in cross section is protruded, appearance of a protrusion part is improved and seen in a compact manner. Since the nut 7 is formed in a trapezoidal shape in cross section, an input load on the nut 7 is suitably dispersed. |
