PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deformation of a connector housing and to prevent a load during fitting and separating a mating connector from being imposed on a wiring board. SOLUTION: This mounting structure of a connector for a wiring board is formed by composing the connector 10P for the wiring board by disposing a female type connector housing 11 having a hood part 11a for receiving a mating connector fitted from the front side 20a of the wiring board and having multiple terminals 12 arranged in the hood part on the back side 20b of a fitting hole 21 opened in the wiring board 20, by inserting one-end parts 12a of the respective terminals led outside the connector housing 11 into terminal insertion holes 22 formed in the wiring board 20 to solder for fixing them to the wiring board 20. And the wiring board 20 with the connector 10P is mounted to an apparatus casing 30. In this case, reinforcing projections 15, 17 for securing the mechanical strength of the hood part are formed on the outside surface of the hood part 11a of the connector housing 11. |
