PRINTING SYSTEM AND PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain constitution substantially connecting plural printer devices to a network by connecting plural printer devices e.g. to a specific device as to a printing system and a printing method provided with a USB function to be used for a network. SOLUTION: A server or personal computer(PC) 2 and a printer A are connected to a network 1, printers B to D are connected to the printer A through a USB and any one of the USB-connected printers B to D can be specified by the server or PC 2 as a printer to which data are to be transmitted. Even when the printer device to be the transmitted destination can not be used, a substitutive printer device is retrieved to execute printing processing. Even when an error is generated in a certain printer device, printing processing can be executed by another printer device.
