PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the best combination of functions by relating the various functions that a printer has with each other by setting conditions needed to extract link information and updating the stored information according to the extracted link information. SOLUTION: An extraction condition setting part 7 previously stores conditions needed to extract link information. A link information storage part 8 includes multiple link information storage parts and stores an information group to be modified by being linked when a user changes settings of a printer driver. A setting information replacement part 9 receives the link information group reported by the link information storage part 8 to a data processing part 1 as a result of the extraction of the link information and replaces the contents of unchanged set values of setting items stored in a current value storage part 5 with the newly received link information. An extracted information storage part 10 stores the link information as the result of the extraction of the link information.
