PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with a stroboscopic device where a strobe light emission charging capacitor with good space efficiency is applied and arranged at a position where the camera can be made compact. SOLUTION: In this camera equipped with a stroboscopic device, a thin flat capacitor is applied as the strobe light emission charging capacitor 15, and the capacitor 15 is arranged in a state where it goes along the base part 1b of a camera main body under a driving unit 12 and a grip part 1a arranged below a shutter device 4, a mirror box 3 and a spool chamber 7. By arranging the capacitor 15 in such a way, a distance between an optical axis O and the base part 1b of the camera main body is not made so long and the camera is made compact.
