PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach and detach an auxiliary unit housing at need by providing a focusing mechanism with an auxiliary unit having a linking member for linking by a path different from a focusing handle and an attaching and detaching mechanism for attaching and detaching this auxiliary unit to/from a fixed housing. SOLUTION: A focusing mechanism 40 consists of a rack and pinion mechanism consisting of a rack 43 and a pinion 42. An auxiliary unit mounting part 21 for mounting an auxiliary unit 50 or a cover 22 is further formed in a fixed housing 20. The part 21 consists of an auxiliary unit housing combining part 21a consisting of a screw hole and a fixed housing opening part 21b. Then, in order to mounting the unit 50 to the housing 20, a fixed housing mounting part 52 and an auxiliary unit mounting part 21 are closely adhered and a fixed housing combining part 52a and an auxiliary unit housing combining part 21a are screwed.
