摘要 PURPOSE: A zero adjustment method is provided to perform a zero adjustment on a touch screen pad of a smart phone or a PDA based on a zero adjustment command although a correctness degree of the touch screen pad is much reduced and it is difficult to input a zero adjustment command via the touch screen panel, so that it can enhance a reliability of the smart phone or the PDA. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user selecting a mode for an zero adjustment of a touch screen panel via an input module(40), a CPU receiving the input zero adjustment mode select command and then transmitting the command to a data processor(42), the CPU displaying positions of reference points to be touched for the zero adjustment with a message of touching one more points on a screen by controlling a display(44), the user touching the displayed points on the screen according to the message, then the touched points being converted in coordinate data and the coordinate data being transmitted to the CPU(46), and the CPU calculating touch errors by comparing the touched points with reference points, storing the calculated data, and recognizing real coordinates by adding the touch errors to the touched points whenever the user touches points on the touch screen panel(48).
