A box-shaped fitting (10) is included to act as a combined noise damping device and air flow channel, and it contains insulation material and a filter for the air (8) entering the building (7). A bottom chamber in the fitting is accessed from the room (6) in the building via a sealable opening to allow rubbish to be removed. The fitting is open in its top side, where the filter is positioned. Air enters the bottom of the fitting from a channel (17) extending at right angles to the fitting. |
