PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a color photographic sensitive material superior in dispersion stability, to enhance the stability and safety in production and to make superior in color forming property and color reproducibility and particularly superior in suitability to desilvering by incorporating a specified yellow coupler into a blue-sensitive layer and a DIR compound having a specified group at the coupling active site into a photographic constituent layer. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains at least one of yellow couplers of the formula, etc., in at least one blue-sensitive layer and a DIR compound having a group which becomes a developing inhibiting compound after release from the active site of the coupler by color development reaction and is decomposed to a compound having substantially no effect on photographic properties after flowing into a color developing solution at the coupling active site in at least one of the photographic constituent layers. In the formula, R1 is a substituent, R2 is a 7-20C branched alkyl, R3 is H or a halogen, (m) is an integer of 1-5, Z1 is >N-R4 or the like, Z2 is >N-R5 or the like and R4 and R5 are each H or the like.
