<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of picture data to be stored in a cache data in a web browser at the time of entering large picture data from a www server and to obtain a rough image of a picture. SOLUTION: A data discrimination means 11 discriminates whether data outputted from a www server are picture data or not, and when the data are picture data, an image size discrimination means 12 discriminates whether the value of the picture data is larger than a value previously set up by a user by using a set contents changing interface 13 or not, and when the value of the picture data is larger than the set value, a thumb nail formation means 14 converts the picture data into thumb nail data and sends the size-reduced picture data to an output means 18 and cache data 19.</p> |
