PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive broadcasting while moving and to continuously view the same program also when the receivable broadcasting varies one after another by deciding a physical channel of large signal intensity which has to be tuned next before the signal intensity of broadcasting wave in the middle of receiving becomes equal to or lower than a reference value, and switching a receiving system. SOLUTION: A receiver 100 mounted to a moving object is capable of recognizing an approaching transmitting place by a positional information signal 173. Thus, before the signal intensity of a broadcasting wave in the middle of receiving becomes equal to or lower than a reference value, a receiving system can be switched by deciding a physical channel of large signal intensity which has to be tuned next. Namely, a control circuit 102 decides the broadcasting wave which has to be tuned next by the signal 173 and a reading channel arrangement information signal 175 when the signal intensity of the broadcasting wave which is presently received by a receiver 100 is lowered, for example. When the receiving system is switched, a video signal and sound signal 113 outputted from a selecting circuit 103 is switched and reception of the broadcasting is continued.
