PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone terminal apparatus which facilitates a user to see numeral data. SOLUTION: In the structure of this telephone terminal apparatus, a through hole 33 is provided at the position directly below each key button section 24 of a circuit board 22, and an illuminating component 34 is mounted at the position where it can illuminate the key button section 24 through the through hole 33. When the numeral data are to be displayed on the telephone terminal apparatus, the illuminating component 34 directly below the key button section 24 displaying the numeral of the numeral data is lighted to illuminate this key button section 24.
