PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To package polished unmilled rice immediately after rice-hulling and unripe rice without changing quantity while a taste meter and a rice quality meter are provided by dividing a sample into the polished unmilled rice and the unripe rice in an independent examination part, and by successively packaging sent unhulled rice, the unripe rice, and the polished unmilled rice being subjected to tasting evaluation and rice quality analysis. SOLUTION: An independent examination part 2 divides a grain sample into polished unmilled rice and unripe rice, unhulled rice and the unripe rice are measured by measuring equipment 6b and are supplied to a sample packer 22 for putting into a bag. The polished unmilled rice is measured by the measuring equipment 6b for supplying to a tasting meter 9 and a rice quality meter 10, a constituent or taste being contained in the polished unmilled rice, and the quality are measured for supplying to the sample packer 22, and the polished unmilled rice is put into the bag as tasting and rice quality measurement samples, thus completing a process for allowing the next sample to be subjected to rice-hulling and selecting the polished unmilled rice and the unripe rice, and hence storing the unhulled rice and the unripe rice even while tasting evaluation and rice quality analysis relatively requiring time for the polished unmilled rice is being carried out.
