PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device which allows the easy joining of output side terminal regions and wiring joining regions formed at flexible wiring boards with high positional accuracy and allows the downsizing of printed circuit boards to be connected to the flexible wiring boards. SOLUTION: The electro-optic device 100 includes an electro-optic panel 20 having an electro-optic material layers between the two substrates and the flexible wiring board 21. The one substrate has the first wiring joining region 25A and the other substrate has the second wiring joining region 26A. The flexible wiring board 21 has the flexible wiring board 22 having wiring 212 for signals, first wiring 214a for scanning lines and the first output side terminal region 232A and the flexible wiring board 23 having second wiring 214b for scanning lines and the second output side terminal region 232A. This process includes a stage for connecting the first flexible wiring board 22 and the second flexible wiring board 23 and connecting the first wiring 214a for scanning lines and the second wiring 214b for scanning lines.
