CLOCK SUPPLY DEVICE FOR DIGITAL VIDEO EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for supplying a display clock suitable for each format of each video signal which is received in the mutually different formats by format-converting the video signal received by the supplied display clock and displaying the converted signal. SOLUTION: A video/graphic processor 30 converts 60 Hz digital video signal received by a digital signal receiving part 10 into a 1080 interlaced format analog signal by the clock of 74.25 MHz frequency which is oscillated by VCO 22 of a PLL means 20 through an incorporated D/A converter. The signal is displayed on a CRT via an analog display processor 40. That is, the video signal is displayed without deterioration of image quality by frequency-dividing the clock generated by a fixed times frequency in accordance with each one of the whole reception possible video signal formats and supplying it to the clock being suitable for the received video format.
