<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stable editing process to be performed even if the FAT on a flash memory is destroyed by adding one attribute file to two combined FAT files and managing parts which are discrete. SOLUTION: In a merging editing process for files recorded on a memory card, two FAT files that a user wants to merge, e.g. CAT.MSA and MAN.MSA are selected through specific operation. An ATRAC3 data file like this has an attribute file added to its header part, so there is the problem that one file has two attribute files after two files are merely merged together. For the purpose, the attribute file of the following file MAN.MSA is deleted in the merging process and the editing process is carried out in the order of an attribute file block for the file CAT.MSA, multiple ATRAC3 blocks, and multiple ATARAC data blocks for the file MAN.MSA.</p> |
