PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a rendering speed fast by properly switching a model used for the rendering. SOLUTION: This three-dimensional graphics display device is composed of a viewpoint position change part 1 which changes viewpoint information on a user, a viewpoint information storage base 2 which stores the viewpoint information on the viewpoint position, direction, etc., of the user in a virtual space, a model storage base 3 which stores three-dimensional models differing in resolution for objects to be arranged in the virtual space together with their detail levels, a detail level calculation part 4 which calculates the detail levels of each of the models used for rendering according to the viewpoint information in the viewpoint storage base 2 a model switching part 6 which switches the models for each of the objects used for rendering according to the detail levels calculated by the calculation part 4, a rendering part 7 which renders 3D computer graphics by using the models sent from the model switching part 6, and an output part 8 which displays the computer graphics generated by the rendering part 7. |
