FLANK-TO-FLANK REPEATER AND ITS OPERATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the separation between a donor antenna which communicates with a base station and a null antenna which communicates with a remote station in a repeater system. SOLUTION: A radio frequency uplink path and a radio frequency downlink path are coupled between the donor antenna 120 and null antenna 122. Adaptive canceling circuits 140 for the uplink and downlink paths each generate a cancel signal, which substantially cancels a feedback signal present in a corresponding radio frequency signal when added to the radio frequency signal on the radio frequency uplink path or radio frequency downlink path.
