PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handling property and sheath peeling property of a flat cable and to reduce the burden of a cable execution worker by applying flexibility to the cable, and making the cable easy to bend and twist in handling it. SOLUTION: Two insulated wire cores 4 each covered with an insulator (e.g. a vinyl resin) 3 on a conductor 2 are aligned, and two insulated wire cores 4 are covered with a sheath 5 as the basic structure of this flat cable 10. As for the difference between this flat cable 10 in this example and a conventional flat cable, the sheath 5 is filled between the insulated wire cores 4 so that no gap exists in the sheath 5 of the conventional flat cable by the sheath material, whereas an inner sheath 6 is filled in void sections formed by an ellipse inscribed to the parallel insulated wire cores, and the outer sheath 5 is provided on the circumference in this flat cable.
