PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently absorb an impact at a light weight and to effectively perform a protective function to a human body or the like by detachably providing a backing material mounting a handgrip at a protective plate obtained by covering a laminate of a woven fabric of a high strength fiber and/or a unidirectional sheet with a cloth by a surface fastener. SOLUTION: The simple shield 1 is formed by covering a laminate obtained by laminating a woven fabric of high strength fiber and/or a unidirectional sheet with a cloth. Surface fasteners (female type) 2 to 5 are mounted on a surface of the cloth. Support plates mounted with a handgrip and coupled by a coupler are connected to one surface of the plate by the fasteners 2 to 5. In order to reduce a volume when contained or the like, the plate mounted with the handgrip is folded. A bent part of a hook is passed through a hole 6 of the shield 1, and a flat plate of the hook is inserted into a gap between a window frame of the door and a door body, and hence the shield 2 is fixed to a vehicle door.
