PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively display the reduced exhausted amount of a gas which has been made possible by utilizing an electric vehicle. SOLUTION: In the presentation apparatus, when an electric vehicle travels by a prescribed distance L in steps 100, 101, the traveled distance L is saved in a step 102. First and second reference data EC1, GC1 are obtained from a memory in step 103. The first reference data EC1 is the amount of CO2 exhausted, when an electric power company generates the electric power required in the case of the electric vehicle traveling by a unit distance, and the second reference data GC1 is the amount of CO2 exhausted when an engine automobile travels by a unit distance. In step 104, there based on the data EC1, GC1 and the traveling distance L the reduced amount DC of CO2 is calculated, which is made possible by the traveling of the electric vehicle. After an economical point EP is computed in step 105 through multiplying by a coefficientαthe reduced amount DC of CO2, the computed economical point EP is added to a cumulative valueΣEP in a step 106 to compute a new cumulativeΣEP. Corresponding to this cumulative valueΣEP, the increase of the economic point EP is displayed by, e.g. the pattern of tree growth.
