PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a back plate for a cathode-ray tube capable of simplifying work manhours, reducing generation of a percent defective, and reducing a percent defective of printing deviation or sagging between printed layers. SOLUTION: A back plate layer 102 comprising mixture of electrode material and adhesive material is formed to cover a back reflection layer 103 and a phosphor layer 104. For an electrode component, that formed of ITO(indium-tin- oxide), for example, transparent, and of a resistance value of 100 MΩor less after baking is used. For an adhesive component, that vaporized at a higher temperature that vaporizing temperature of a peeling layer 105, that is a butyral resin or polyamide resin, for example, is used. After a transfer film 101 is peeled, it is heated to a prescribed temperature, then the adhesive component is vaporized till the back plate layer 102 becomes an electrode layer comprising the transparent electrode material only.
