Evaluation and monitoring of tissue aging comprises establishing an evolutionary experimental model for simulating the test tissue. Evaluation and monitoring of tissue aging comprises: (a) establishing an evolutionary experimental model for simulating the test tissue; (b) subjecting this to factors and/or agents (A) that induce aging; and (c) localizing and quantifying the effects of induced aging, based on images of the model (or part of it) after labeling at least some of the products caused by aging.
