PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle and the like that enhances the workability, that suppresses an optical loss and that contribute to the cost reduction. SOLUTION: The receptacle 3 is equipped with an optical element module 32, which is provided with lead frames 54, 55 having an optical element 52, 53, and a connector housing 31 having storage chambers 43, 43, the connector housing 31 further having a fitting part and receptacle cylinders 44, 44. The optical element module 32 is provided with clad parts 61, 62 which are formed on the receptacle cylinders 44, 44 by duplex molding for example. The module is also provided with core parts 59, 60 for forming optical waveguides 57, 58 together with the clad parts 61, 62, and provided with a mold part 56 for incorporating in the core parts 59, 60. The core parts 59, 60 and the mold part 56 are formed with a light-transmissible transparent resin that is filled inside the clad parts 61, 62 and the storage chambers 43, 43. |
