PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a shifted flow by disposing a refractory having a vent, as a supporting member, on the high temperature side of the filler layer of a heat storage material and making an elongated groove thinner than the outside diameter of the heat storage material and passing through the vent on the filler layer side of the refractory. SOLUTION: A filler layer 2 is supported, on the high temperature side, by a refractory 7 having a vent 5 and ceramic balls are utilized as a heat storage material 3. A cooling air pipe 8 penetrates the filler layer 2 and the refractory 7 from the rear end side of a burner body 1 while containing a fuel supply pipe 9 and a firing unit 10. The heat storage material 3 filling the filler layer 2 is composed of a large diameter heat storage material 3b and a small diameter heat storage material 3s filling the high temperature side and the low temperature side, respectively. An elongated groove 6 is made on the filler layer 2 side of the refractory 7 while passing through the vent 5 and the width of the groove 6 is set narrower than the outside diameter of the heat storage material 3b. |
