PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiowave absorber having superior wave absorptive power to a board wave band used for telecasting. SOLUTION: A wave absorber is constituted by successively laminating a Mg-Zn ferrite mortar layer 3 formed by mixing an Mg-Zn ferrite with cement and another Mn-Zn ferrite mortar layer 4 formed by mixing Mn-Zn ferrite grains with cement on the rear surface of a decorative plate 2 in this order and lining the back of the ferrite mortar layer 4 with a metallic layer 5 which is short-circuited to the layer 4. Since the moisture content in each ferrite mortar layer is adjusted to 0.4-1.2 wt.% against the weight of the ferrite mortar, the reflection loss on each layer can be increased. In addition, the surface of the wave absorber on which the ferrite mortar layers are exposed is coated with a resin, the moisture contents of the ferrite mortar layers are always fixed. |
