PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vehicle sharing system, which is efficient by using minimum number of shared vehicles, by making an application include the predictive distance and the predictive period of a scheduled trip. SOLUTION: A user desiring to use a vehicle 16 goes to the first vehicle allocation port 14 and inputs the application of the vehicle 16 and other information to a computer system. This information includes additional time and distance for the user to take for arriving at a desired port exceeding a normal distance and/or time by making another tour. Then, the inputted information is transmitted to a control center 12, which receives information concerning the position of the vehicle 16, a parking mode, a traveling distance, a tripping time and other various trip information, information on a statistic value transmitted from the vehicle subsystem 18 of each vehicle 16. Based on information received from the port 14 and the subsystem 18, the center 12 selects the vehicle from in the group of vehicles and assigns it to the user. |
