PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component recognition device which can accurately recognize a component without being affected by the kind of the component and a component mounting machine equipped with it. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a 1st illuminating source 121 which irradiates the back side of a component 1 held by a holding means 110 with light to obtain 1st image light of the component, a 2nd illuminating source 122 which irradiates the front side of the component held by the holding means with light to obtain 2nd image light of the component, a reflecting means 123 which reflects the 1st or 2nd image light at a specific angle, and an image pickup means 124 which receives the 1st or 2nd image light reflected by the reflecting means to pick up an image of the component. |
