<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable even a CPU with a small memory to manage clusters and sound units in a data file managed by a FAT system by managing them in every unit of part. SOLUTION: The file constitution of a memory card has an ATRAC3 data file composed of a FAT in a directory for music. The ATRAC3 data file is composed of a head property header and ciphered music data following it. The head property data consists of a header, a music name NM1 in 1-byte code, a music name NM2 in 2-byte code, track information TRKINF such as key information on a track, parts information PRTINF, and additional information INF on the track. The header includes a total number of parts, the attribute of a name, size information on the additional information, etc. Thus, a track information area TRKINF and a parts area PRTINF are arranged adjacently, so the difficulties of adopted Link-P of a MD can be solved.</p> |
