PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct flicker compensation of a plurality of flicker generation loads, installed to different buses in a system of the flicker compensation apparatus, without reduction in the flicker compensation effect and variation of installation bus of the flicker generating load. SOLUTION: A load 3 that generates flicker via a transformer 2 and a load 3A, that generates flicker via a transformer 2A, are installed to a power supply system 1. A flicker compensating apparatus 4 is installed to a bus connecting the tertiary coil of the transformer 2 and the tertiary coil of the transformer 2A and receives the signals for the purpose of control from the transformer 5 for detecting a current of the load 3 and from the transformer 5A for detecting a current of the load 3A.
