COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE, ITS METHOD AND COMPUTER READABLE MEMORY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device large in screen size, high in resolution and capable of precisely inputting coordinates, and to provide a coordinate input method and a computer readable memory. SOLUTION: Respective detection results of plural linear sensors 20Xa, 20Xb, 20Ya, 20Yb for detecting a light spot are corrected. A coordinate operation part 32 combines these corrected data and outputs a coordinate value corresponding to the light spot on the basis of the combined data. The light receiving areas of the sensors 20Xa, 20Xb, 20Ya, 20Yb have overlapped parts.
