<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize inexpensive and efficient IP communication on an access network. SOLUTION: A protocol is defined between an AN 1 containing a LAN 5 and an LE 3 containing the Internet 7. A plurality of bare channels among a plurality of bare channels between the AN 1 and the LE 3 are assigned for packet communication according to the definition. A new packet can be communicated by using an existing/conventional communication line between the LAN 5 and the Internet 7 through the packet channel.</p> |
