PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color component signal which has high resolution and small false colors by deciding the value of the difference between the signal level of a known color component and the signal level of a deficient color component with the difference between the low-pass filter values of those two color components and multiplying an amplified value by an interpolation intensity coefficient. SOLUTION: Two-dimensional memories 6a to 6c store light receiving sensitivity signals of multiple lines by color components R, G, and B. Two-dimensional low-pass filters 7a to 7c output low-pass filter values by pixels. A coefficient memory 9 has a table wherein difference values of the color components are made to correspond to loop control coefficient. A coefficient selecting circuit 10 selects the loop control coefficient corresponding to the difference between the low-pass filter values of a generated color and a photodetection color by generated colors to generate an interpolation intensity coefficient. An operational amplifier circuit 11 generates sensitivity signals of the respective generated colors by using the interpolation intensity coefficients, low-pass filter values, etc., and puts together and output the generation sensitivity signals and light receiving sensitivity signals as color component signals of respective pixels.
