PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately deal with trouble that occurs in a printer part by detecting abnormality in the recording operation of the printer part and inhibiting the operation of a digital camera part. SOLUTION: A feeding abnormality detecting part 702 detects feeding abnormality such as jam of a print paper in a printer part 111. A system controller (CPU) 100 controls the operation of the entire camera including print operation as well and prints out image signals on the recording paper. When the feeding abnormality detecting part 702 detects an abnormality of recording operation caused by the printer part 111, the CPU 100 inhibits the operation of the digital camera part. When trouble such as paper jamming occurs in the printer part 111, the operation of the digital camera part can be controlled. The quality deterioration of the print image caused by trouble or the like in the printer part 111 can be prevented.
