The sleeve is of the type having a tubular body (4) housing an electronic circuit (2) to which is connected a flat cable (28) and a connection (6), for an electrode, which is fed with high or low frequency current. Frequency selection is controlled by pushbuttons (38) on the sleeve. The cable (28) is fitted with auto insulation stripping male/female connectors. The female connectors (32,34) are fixed to the cable (28) ends and the male connectors (8,24) are soldered onto printed circuits, one (8) on the printed circuit (2) and the other (24) on the printed circuit (20) in the supply connector (16). All of the electrical connections, i.e. male connectors (8,24), push-button bases (14) and pins (22) of connector (16) are fixed to the corresponding printed circuits (2,20) by wave type soldering.
